Excellent elevated view of the hills from the bedroom and the main hotel terrace. Pretty ironwork balustrades. Central but quiet location just a few minutes' walk from the main square. Good restaurant below. Very close to the bus terminal to visit the gold mine and Mariana.
Breakfast is a low key affair but perfectly adequate and plentiful.

Ouro Preto is a very hilly place. This hotel is right inmthe centre with a good view of the city from the room we stayed in. The bed was fine, the room clean and the staff very good. They spoke no Emglish but we got by.

Good location with a fabulous sight over part of the town.
There was bad smell in the room, the breakfast was poor, and the Internet was a joke.
